About Me

Contact me Back

I was born in a small town in the mountains of Colorado. I’ve always been the outdoor type; I played baseball for 17 years, raced Motocross seven years, hunted, fishing, you name it. I had dreams at one point to become either a professional baseball player or professional motocross racer. I went to the tryouts for a major league team and didn’t make it, but vowed to return the following year and try again. As luck would have it, almost a year had gone by, the tryouts were about a month away and I incurred a severe shoulder injury that destroyed my dreams of becoming a professional athlete.

I also have a passion for remote controlled vehicles. Cars, trucks, boats, planes and helicopters --it doesn’t matter; I love them all. I’m a competitor and an avid fan of 3D maneuvering with both planes and helicopters. However, living in a small ranching community gave me (along with all the other rancher kids) a big drive to find amusement at night since the sidewalks rolled up at six and the latest store open was the gas station that closed at nine.

Instead of getting into trouble, I got into games. After console gaming lost its luster, I started looking into computers and computer gaming. When the Internet and online gaming became available, I was hooked. I loved playing, but more importantly, I wanted to be a part of it. I took some classes to get myself familiar with programming and started making sound sets for the games I was playing. This led to a job with Interactive Creations Inc. and later Playnet, Inc. I have been working within the IT industry for the past 6 years, during that time I was in two startup companies that made some revolutionary progress in the world of online gaming and massively multiplayer online role playing games. I found out that I was good at problem solving and made a good IT and customer support person while at those jobs.

The last company I was with, I worked as a Producer in game design, game development, audio production and video production. I received much notoriety for the quality of my sound work. Every review for the games got nine out of ten in the sound category and sometimes even a ten out of ten. I had even received, much to my surprise, and email from Sky Walker Sound concerning my possible employment with them. At the time I was still working for Playnet, Inc. so I passed on that job offer as I am and will always remain a loyal employee to the company I work for.

When company cutbacks made the company cut corners and staff, I took up the slack in some places by learning other things, such as working with Linux. I learned how to work with and manage a very large beta testing team. I found that I really belonged in game production/development, so when I looked into ITT for my education, choosing the Multimedia option wasn’t difficult.

I plan to finish up my Associates Degree in Applied Science and then move on to my Bachelors Degree in Applied Science for Game Design. Ultimately I want to own my own computer game company and even try my hand at audio and video work within the Hollywood industry. I am very passionate about what I do and I always give 110%. This is my current autobiography. I hope one day to be able to add to this the many projects I have worked with successfully and was able to turn into profitable ventures.
